Under the directives of Eng. Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry, to bolster supply chains, localize national industry, and provide diverse investment opportunities for small-scale investors and entrepreneurs, Dr. Nahed Youssef, Chairperson of Industrial Development Authority (IDA), announced the offering of 400 fully constructed industrial units equipped with comprehensive infrastructure and utilities, ready for immediate handover. The units are distributed across 11 industrial complexes in 10 governorates and will be available for application from October 15 to October 29, 2026, through the Egypt Industrial Hub platform (www.egyptindustrialhub.com).

Dr. Youssef clarified that this offering includes ownership-only units located in Mergham 2 (Alexandria), Sadat (Menofia), the Metallurgical Complex (Fayoum), Bayad Al-Arab (Beni Suef), Al-Matahra (Minya), Arab Al-Awamer (Assiut), West Girga (Sohag), and Al-Baghdadi (Luxor). Furthermore, units available under both ownership and lease models are offered in Al-Genena and Al-Shebbak (Aswan), the Concrete Complex (Fayoum), and the Hu Complex (Qena). She noted that these units cater to a wide range of industrial sectors, including engineering, food, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, leather, textiles, and building materials, with areas ranging from 48 square meters up to 960 square meters to suit the operational requirements of various enterprises.
The Chairperson emphasized that this offering builds upon Authority's ongoing commitment to delivering operation-ready industrial facilities designed according to the highest technical and structural standards. This enables small-scale investors to commence operations immediately without incurring additional overhead costs. She added that the offering includes a comprehensive package of financial incentives and procedural simplifications for issuing industrial licenses utilizing the same flexible mechanisms applied in previous offerings. Applicants can also secure bank financing and leverage funding programs from the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) for machinery, equipment, and production line procurement, alongside technical support and marketing services tailored for entrepreneurs.
Regarding the application procedure, Dr. Youssef stated that the entire reservation process and the purchasing of terms and conditions booklets (containing all requirements and documentation) will be conducted fully online via the Egypt Industrial Hub portal. This streamlined digital workflow ensures complete transparency, simplified procedures, and equal opportunities for all applicants. Application reviewing and evaluation will commence immediately following the application deadline under strict standards of transparency.
It is worth noting that several units included in this offering were recently re-possessed during an intensive campaign launched by Authority to reclaim unutilized lands and units that exceeded their approved execution timelines and extended grace periods. This aligns with the Ministry of Industry's strategy to re-allocate these assets to serious investors and direct them toward actual production and manufacturing.
