Under an ambitious vision to transition towards a brighter future, Egypt is navigating a crucial phase of comprehensive construction and development. To achieve Sustainable Development goals in execution of Egypt Vision 2030, Egypt has commenced the implementation of the National Economic and Social Reform Program.

This governmental program included a structural reform plan for several vital economic sectors, chief among them the Industrial Sector. In this regard, IDA has adopted the following initiatives:

•  Establishing a cohesive package of legislative, procedural, and institutional reforms.
•  Furthermore, undertaking immense efforts in the field of enhancing and developing the infrastructure of Industrial Zones
•  Establishing Industrial Complexes throughout all Egyptian governorates. This endeavor is driven by the desire to foster an efficient and flexible Business Climate, positioning Egypt as a premier regional and global destination for industrial investment. This strategic direction has already yielded demonstrable success, generating a positive and tangible impact that has been commended by international institutions, consequently elevating Egypt's ranking across numerous economic indicators.

IDA remains dedicated to continuously advancing the industrial sector by:

•  Sustaining continuous improvement and development in accordance with the best international standards and practices, through formulating strategies that realize Deepening Local Industrialization.
•  Ensuring the provision of domestic production inputs that meet the requirements of the national industry, thereby conserving foreign currency and significantly reducing import dependency.
•  • Furthermore, supporting the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector and providing all necessary facilities to small-scale investors. This is essential for enhancing the competitive capacity of local products and achieving integration across national production chains, which ultimately contributes to the development of a robust and integrated Egyptian industrial base.

In light of the various challenges currently imposed by global and regional variables, this phase has necessitated IDA to redouble its diligent efforts to overcome and mitigate the impact of those challenges. Tangible success, evident in the Industrial Sector, has already been achieved through the provision of unprecedented incentives and facilitations. IDA will continue to move forward with optimism and hope for a brighter future that befits Egypt's status, securing its regional and global leadership.
